A juvenile female was hit by a car on Mantoloking Road around 7:15 this morning, according to police.
Sgt. Henry Drew said the girl was taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune for treatment of her injuries, and that more information would be coming later today on the incident.
Traffic safety investigators are on scene now.
According to one report on the Brick Facebook page from a resident: "a girl got hit by a car by her bus stop. She was only in middle school please pray that she will be ok. She is very good friends with my daughter."
