Court Blotter: Indictments for Drug, Theft Charges

Brick residents indicted on Ocean County charges

A Brick man was indicted last week on drug charges by an Ocean County grand jury.

Thomas S. Berry, 43, of Morris Avenue was arrested Oct. 26 in the township and accused of possessing heroin with the intent to sell it, the indictment states. He was released on a summons.

  • James P. Ward, 24, of Flintoff Avenue on a theft charge.

Ward stole jewelry worth more than $500 from the Bon-Ton store at Brick Plaza and was released on a summons, the indictment states.

  • Joshua R. Nusbaum, 20, of Evelyn Court on a drug charge. 

Nusbaum was arrested Dec. 13 in the township and accused of having marijuana with the intent to distribute it. He was released on a summons.
