Dog, Beer Stolen in Lakewood Burglary

A burglary in Lakewood resulted in a family's dog – as well as several bottles of beer – being stolen.

Lakewood police say the burglary occurred Thursday morning at a home on East County Line Road, where a resident reported that while taking her children to school, an unknown person entered her home through the back door.

The burglary was reported to Officer Michael Zwick several hours later, at 11 a.m.

Once inside the suspect took several bottles of beer, a phone and the family's seven month-old Pitbull named Finely.

Finely is described as being white and brown in color, though no photos of the dog were available.
