Brick Woman Charged Following Drug Raid

Heroin, cocaine and prescription drugs seized

County and local authorities raided a Lakewood home last Friday, the culmination of an investigation into drug activity in the area, Ocean County Prosecutor Marlene Lynch Ford said Monday.

A Lakewood man and a Brick woman are facing multiple drug charges as a result.

Members of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office Secial Operations Group, along with Lakewood police, executed a search warrant at the residence located at 6 Edgewood Court last Friday, June 29. The search yielded approximately one ounce of cocaine and approximately 195 bags of heroin, along with a quantity of a prescription drug, suboxone, and a small amount of marijuana, Ford said.

Police also seized a 2000 Chevrolet pick up truck during the raid, which Ford said was being utilized to facilitate the drug distribution network.

Mark Bond, 49, a resident of the house that was raided, was charged with possession of cocaine over one half ounce with intent to distribute; possession of cocaine; possession of marijuana under fifty grams; possession of heroin under one half ounce; and possession of heroin under one half ounce with intent to distribute.

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Wauters set Bond's bail at $200,000 cash. Bond was lodged in the Ocean County Jail Monday, according to jail records.

Kalliope Stampolis, 23, of Mulberry Place in Brick, was charged with possession of cocaine over one half ounce with intent to distribute; possession of cocaine; possession of marijuana under fifty grams; possession of heroin under one half ounce; possession of heroin under one half ounce with intent to distribute; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Wauters set Stampolis' bail at $50,000 cash. She was also being lodged in the Ocean County Jail on Monday, records showed.

glad they got these drugs off the street.
BUT DESPRATE TIMES = DESPRATE MEASURES.. WILL NOT BE SURPISED to see a rise in crimes like this... Robbing banks, home robberies, selling drugs, sadly when 8.2 of anericans are unemployed ( on file, meaning even high for those who no longer can get unemployement, Bet near 10% & NOW, there will be No more extention payments even if you have $$ left in your account after next week) NOT MAKING EXCUSES, but when there are no jobs & no way of taking care of your family people sometimes do things they would not normally do.
