Brick Woman Burglarized Car, Stole $5K in Property, Indictment Charges

Jennifer Spinelli is also accused of credit card theft.

A 31-year-old Brick woman is accused of breaking into a car in Middletown and taking $5,000 worth of cash and electronics.

Jennifer Spinelli was indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury on Tuesday on five counts.

On Oct. 5, 2013, Spinelli allegedly burglarized the car and took an iPhone, an iPad and money. She is also accused of stealing a credit card and using it in various locations in Middletown and Neptune.

Spinelli has been charged with burglary, theft, credit card theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and attempted fraudulent use of a credit card.

I know when I was growing up (about 10+ years ago) Brick was one of the safest towns in the whole country. We never locked our cars or even the front door half the time. It's so sad that this is the way it is now. Drugs. Heroin. The evil stuff that turns good people bad.

Wow I know this girl. Sadly brick is going bad number one safest town in the us now were what 20. Way to much crime. It's also sad I can go through my year book and say this one over doses this one overdosed and so on. Sad world we live in

Emily, I apologize. I guess that I have been hardened by some of the ridiculous comments that I have read on many of the Patch's articles. It is the very first sentence of the article.

Emily its a shame that Brick is now the problem child of ocean county with robberies and drugs I know it was in Middletown but we have had our share of them in past weeks ..and they are all coming over from Lakewood that is slowly getting better at least they didn't make top ten list .so sad .
