Brick Police Release Suspect Photos From Two Bank Robberies

Brick Police are continuing to push surveillance images of two bank robberies, in hopes of gaining the public's help in identifying two men in the separate incidents.

The first incident was 6:59 p.m. Nov. 7 at TD Bank, a white man, approximately 5'2" tall, 40 years old, entered the building wearing a brown-grayish windbreaker, sunglasses and a large brown wig. The man had acne scarring on his face and was also wearing jeans and running shoes. Brick Police Sgt. Henry Drew said the man entered the bank, and said to the teller "Put the money in the bag and no one will get hurt."

The man then fled on foot toward the nearby CVS, Drew said.

Police released surveillance images of the suspects again Tuesday. Saying it was an open investigation, Drew said police were not publicizing the amount taken in each incident.

Here is the full report from Drew:

The Brick Township Police Department is asking the public to look at photos that were taken at the scenes of two recent Bank Robberies.  The first robbery occurred on November 7 at approximately 6:59 pm.  On scene officers were advised that a white male subject (approx. 5-02, approx. 40 yoa, acne scarring on his face, wearing a brown/grayish windbreaker, jeans, running shoes, wearing a large brown wig, and sunglasses) entered the bank and stated to a teller “put the money in the bag and no one will get hurt.”  After receiving a quantity of money from the teller the suspect fled the bank on foot and was believed to be headed in the direction of the CVS Pharmacy which is located just across the parking lot.

On November 15 at approximately 5:45 pm, officers were dispatched to the Santander Bank (formerly Sovereign Bank, 17 Beaverson Blvd) for a report of a bank robbery.  Investigation on scene determined that a male subject (described as being a white or hispanic male, approx. 5-02 in height, approx 145-165 lbs, wearing a black and blue checkered hat, jeans, sneakers, a stocking over his face, and a dark khaki colored jacket or zippered sweatshirt with a hood), entered the bank, approached the teller and demanded money.  A weapon was not observed during this incident.  The subject was carrying a dark purple or eggplant colored plastic bag, which may be the type of bag used at a particular store.  Please see the photo of the subject where he is holding the bag.  The subject left the bank and fled on foot westbound on Beaverson Boulevard.

Anyone who believes they may have information relating to either of these robberies is asked to call the Brick Township Police Detective Bureau at (732)-262-1120, or contact the Brick Township Police Department at (732)-262-1100.
