The Brick Police Department's phone lines are back up after an interruption, Capt. John Rein said.
The department's main phone line had gone down due an issue with Verizon, but service was fully restored by 1 p.m, Rein said. During the interruption, several lines were still in service, and 911 emergency calls still went through.
