Brick Man Indicted For Second Time In a Month
Anthony Acevedo now formally accused of robbing Rite Aid store
An Ocean County grand jury has returned the second indictment in a month against a Brick man.
Anthony Azevedo, 26, of Birch Bark Drive, is now accused of tring to break into the on Burnt Tavern Road the night of May 2.
He after Brick Police Ptl. Scott Smith heard banging noises coming from the pharmacy and then saw a man, later determined to be Azevedo, swinging a hammer against the store's drive-in window, according to Capt. John Rein.

Azevedo is free on $20,000 bail.
In June, a grand jury returned a separate indictment against Azevedo for allegedly being armed with a knife when he in the parking lot of the Brick Wal-Mart store on Feb. 13.

He is free on $75,000 bail in that case.
Also indicted by an Ocean County grand jury were:
- Thomas Tierney, 22, of Ford Avenue, Bayville, and Lisa Greulich, 56, of Vannote Place, Brick, accused of having and distributing Oxycodone in Brick on April 23. Tierney is also accused of having the prescription drug Carisoprodol.
- Alaecia M. Krauss, 21, of Pocohontas Avenue, Point Pleasant, for stealing a saxophone, ring, and cash from Cory Ott and Patricia Stoffers on March 6 in Point Pleasant.
