Brick Man Charged With DWI, Assault by Auto After Accident

Crash caused chain reaction, four car accident, police say

Wall Township police charged a Brick Township man with drunk driving and assault by auto after he rear-ended another car in the midst of a four-car accident, police said.

Nicholas Graf, 29, was arrested after police investigated a our car chain reaction motor vehicle crash with one injury on State Highway 35 and Tarpon Drive, Sgt. Erik Ertle said.

Police say Graf rear ended a vehicle in front of him with his 2014 Ford pickup truck, causing the larger accident.

The driver of one of the vehicles was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center by Wall EMS with a head injury that was not life threatening. The injured driver is a 21 year-old Pompano Beach, Fla. resident.
