Police have arrested a township woman and charged her with the robbery of a convenience store last weekend.
Gia Palmieri, 42, is suspected of robbing the Quick Stop Convenience Store on Route 88, just north of Midstreams Road.
The robbery occurred Oct. 6 at about 4 p.m., said Brick Police Detective Jim Burgess.
A female walked in the store wearing a stocking that covered her face and demanded cash from the owner, he said. At the time she was holding what appeared to be a handgun.
Palmieri was arrested Thursday after an investigation, said Burgess. Police now suspect what appeared to be a handgun was actually an Airsoft gun.
Palmieri has been charged with robbery and unlawful possession of an immitation firearm. She was being lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail, a check of jail records showed.
The country is in bad bad shape yet all the people who condone her criminal act will vet democrat and not for a competent government. What's next, people coming into your home and robing you, or stealing our property to "feed their kids" would you call the police if that happened or chalk it up to someone needing the money and let it go. What about the store clerk who was terrified, or the lose of money the insurance company will not cover, why should people be allowed to steal from the rest of us.
Please surrender all your worldly goods, savings, and anything of value to those who "are in need" not because of this terrible govermental regime, but because they are a drug addict. Death penalty for all drug sellers and those involved in it's distribution. Then maybe we can all have some security.
Thats what we need here, massive rapid transit. You're a genius. Sbways and el trains will end all crimedown here, just like in the cities.
