7 Brick Residents Arrested in Sheriff's Sweep

Seven Brick residents were among 110 people arrested by the Ocean County Sheriff's Department in February.

Those arrested include:

• Ryan Emmett, 25, of David Place, arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives P. Sickinger and R. Stark on three Superior Court warrants for failure to pay child support in the amount of $10,785.08. Emmett was processed and paid a partial purge approved by the Ocean County Probation Department.
• John Cusanelli, 48, of Labana Court, arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives D. Dering and T. Mullin on a Superior Court warrant for failure to appear for a status conference on original charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Cusanelli was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail.
• Andre Lamont Cox, 41, of Kentwood Boulevard, charged by Sheriff’s Detective C. Vasquez with being a fugitive from justice from Chatham County, Georgia, where he faces charges of failure to appear for a parole violation. Cox was lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending extradition back to the State of Georgia.
• Crystal Kiarulff, 24, of Pinehurst Road, arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives S. Metta and J. Mercado on a Superior Court for failure to pay child support in the amount of $10,015.49. Kiarulff was processed, paid a reduced purge approved by the Ocean County Probation Department and subsequently released.
• Anthony Scaduto, 34, of Matterhorn Way, arrested by Sheriff‘s Lieutenant D. Schenk and Sheriff’s Sergeant J. Bordonaro on a Superior Court warrant for failure to comply with the Intensive Supervision Program. Scaduto was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.
• Hannah Hall, 53, of Taft Drive, arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives S. Metta and J. Mercado on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to appear for sentencing on original charges of credit card theft. Hall was processed and lodged in the Ocean County  Jail with no option for bail.
• Rodney Brown, 43, of Stengel Avenue, arrested by Sheriff’s Detective S. Metta and J. Mercado on an Ocean County Superior Court Warrant for failure to pay child support in the amount of $18,484.28. Brown was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending first appearance. 

Sheriff's officers arrested a total of 34 parents who failed to pay child support in February. In all, those arrested owe $412,392.50 in back child support payments, Capt. Matthew J. Armstrong.
