10 Brick Residents Arrested in Sheriff's Sweep

Drug, child support, fugitive warrants served

The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department arrested 10 Brick residents last month during law enforcement sweeps.

The department arrested a total of 116 people during the month of July, including eight fugitives and 25 people who owed back child support.

  • 7/3/12 – Patrick M. Ireland, 19, of Tanager Way was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives M. Petrucelli and K. Allmann on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Ocean County Drug Court Program. Ireland was lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.
  • 7/10/12 – Deanna L. Salafia, 24, of Lakeland Drive was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives H. Foltz, P. Williams and M. Groesch on a Superior Court Warrant one for failure to appear for a pre arraignment interview on original charges of shoplifting. Salafia was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $10,000.00 bail.
  • 7/10/12 – John Trione, 53, of Pine Circle was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives C. Watkins and R. Johnson on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to pay child support in the amount of $15,176.00. Trione was processed and paid a partial purge approved by the Ocean County Probation Department.
  • 7/11/12 – Vernon L. McLaughlin, 41, of Cherry Quay Road was arrested by Sheriff’s Detective J. Mercado on an Ocean County Superior Court Warrant for failure to pay child support in the amount of $19,586.60 McLaughlin was processed and paid a reduced purge approved by the Ocean County Probation Department and subsequently released.
  • 7/12/12 – Ryan J. Salmon, 28, of Sixth Avenue was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives J. Mercado and S. Metta on two (2) Ocean County Superior Court Warrants for violation of probation for original charges of theft by unlawful taking and one for charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Salmon was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail with no option for bail.
  • 7/24/12 – Estaban Morales, 38, of Northrup Avenue was charged by Sheriff’s Detective S. Metta with being a Fugitive from Justice from Baltimore County, State of Maryland where he faces charges failure to appear on original charges of carrying a concealed weapon. Morales was lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending extradition back to the State of Maryland.
  • 7/24/12 – Stephanie Ann Knudsen, 29, of Roosevelt Drive was arrested by Sheriff’s Detective/Sergeant Jeffrey Schevlin and Sheriff’s Detective on an Ocean County Superior Court Warrant for failure to appear for a pre trial interview on original charges of theft by unlawful taking. Knudsen was processed and lodged in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $10,000.00 bail.
  • 7/27/12 – Crystal Ann Kiarulff, 24, of Pinehurst Road was arrested by Sheriff’s Detective Sergeant Jeffrey Schevlin on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to pay child support in the amount of $9,735.49. Kiarulff was processed and paid a partial purge approved by the Ocean County Probation Department.
  • 7/27/12 – Kalliope Maria Stampolis, 23, of Mulberry Place was charged by Sheriff’s Detective S. Metta with being a Fugitive from Justice from Harris County, State of Texas where she faces charges of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Stampolis is lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending extradition back to the State of Texas.
  • 7/23/12 – Matthew Brice, 30, of Arrowhead Park Drive was arrested by Sheriff’s Detectives S. Metta and C. Watkins on a Superior Court Warrant for failure to comply with the Intensive Supervision Program. Brice was lodged in the Ocean County Jail, with no option for bail
