What to do First> the new mayor

I sincerely hope that the new mayor and council take a god hard look at the rise in violent crime in Brick. Home invasions ,shootings ,stabbings. wasn't it just a few years ago Brick was voted the safest town to live in anywhere? Maybe we should stop take a good look and don't worry about political appointments and get our police any and all the help they need to stop the rising trend!!!!  Let's not let our town become a haven for any new crime!!
