Parking at Brick Memorial HS

Maybe I didn't make myself crystal clear about the parking tickets being issued to Seniors for not having a parking pass at the HS. A parking pass that must be purchased.  As a homeowner here in Brick, I pay property taxes. Taxes, of which a good portion goes to fund the schools. So, the schools which sit on town property AND their adjoining parking lots are paid for and maintained by the taxpayers' property taxes. Why then should an additional cost be levied to park on property that is already supported by tax dollars? I have no issue at all requiring a permit to be issued and displayed in said parking lots. My issue is with the pettiness of the town and the school district in general with their attempt to extract money above and beyond what we all pay for already with our property taxes. What is next, having to pay to park at the Municipal Building in order to go in and pay our taxes or a parking ticket?
