One solution to the heroin epidemic!!

Everyday I read posts about the heroin epidemic in ocean county and the answer I always here is harsher penalties which won't help the least! Why is there not one detox center in Ocean County ? Addiction is a disease that were not offering treatment for! Yet we want to fix the problem! I am a recovering addict and trust me when I say no addict wants to be an addict! They don't want to suffer everyday! I've lost a lot of friends to this disease and have a lot of friends still struggling everyday they wake up and it's ashame I can't give them the advice of going to a local detox center. I don't get it, people are dying and this township is putting up chic fillets and restaurants on every corner! But yet we wanna see change! Change that isn't gonna happen until we can provide help for the people that are going thru life but not really living it!
