The governor will hold a clown hall meeting in Middletown on Tuesday. Christie is expected to discuss distribution (diversion) of federal Sandy recovery funds during his performance at Middletown VFW Post 2179 in Port Monmouth on Tuesday, February 18th. The public "photo opp" will be Christie's first time taking questions from a crowd since allegations of politically-motivated George Washington Bridge lane closures and politically motivated usage of Sandy recovery funds surfaced in January. Doors open at 10 a.m., with the event starting at 11 a.m. ==> Limited seating will be first come, first served, and open to the public. No bags will be permitted in the venue. Residents may RSVP for the session at TownHall.Middletown@gov.state.nj.us. Following the town hall session, NJ Mobile Cabinet will remain on site to meet with affected residents and answer Sandy-related questions regarding housing and business assistance programs.

On Friday, Feb. 21st, the final public hearing on the state's (mismanagement of) storm recovery funds has been rescheduled for 4 PM at Brookdale College, Middletown, Monmouth County.  Register in advance to speak for 3 mins. at http://bit.ly/SandyPublicHearings)  or email your comments now to sandy.publiccomment@dca.state.nj.us.
