Obituary: Robert F. Terry III, Subject Of SWAT Manhunt In Point Boro

Below is an obituary for Robert F. Terry, III, reprinted from Shore Point Funeral Home in Hazlet.

Terry was the subject of a manhunt throughout the Point Boro and Brick last week, dying one day after he shot himself as SWAT teams approached. 

OBITUARY:

Robert F. Terry, III, "BT" 32, of Port Monmouth, passed away at Jersey Shore Shore Medical Center on October 3, 2013. 

He was born on December 8, 1980 in Long Branch. BT lived in Middletown, his entire life. He graduated class of 1999 Middletown High School North. 

BT was full of life and always the life of the party. He was an avid Pittsburgh Fan whether it was the Pirates, Steelers or the Penguins. He was a talented barber who dreamed of owning his own barber shop one day. His dream came true and he was the proprietor/manager/operator of "Who's Next" in Matawan. 

BT was always a caring loving person who even gave to others through his death. He gave the GIFT OF LIFE to others by being a donor to The Sharing Network of New Jersey.

He was predeceased by his beloved grandparents Dawn Ann Terry and Nicholas Gerald and Rose Castellano Bumbico. BT is survived by his cherished sons Jordan Robert and Jaidan Ronald Terry (The Light of his Life and the sparkle in his eyes), along with his loving parents Robert F. Terry, Jr. and his wife Mary Anne Bumbico, his dear grandfather Robert F. Terry, Sr., along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
