Jersey Shore Down Syndrome Association support group meeting

The next meeting for The Jersey Shore Down Syndrome Association has been scheduled for Monday, September 10, 2012, at 7 pm. The meeting will be held at the professional therapy Assocites building at 2557 Hooper Ave in Brick. Current and new members welcome, including children and family members.

The mission of the Jersey Shore Down Syndrome Association is to empower and support individuals with Down syndrome and their families through increased awareness, advocacy, education and inclusion.

The Jersey Shore Down Syndrome Association is having its Step Up For Down Syndrome Walk on Saturday October 13. The walk is from 9 am - 1 pm, at the Wall Municipal Complex at 2700 Allaire Rd in Wall, NJ.
Details can be found at http://jsdsa.org and on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/events/460862770598224/.

The day will include the walk, food, prizes and fun family activities. Individuals and teams are encouraged to register to participate in this fun event. Funds raised from this event will directly support the mission of the organization, and will be the driving force behind the organization’s programs such as the desperately needed Parents First Call program, unveiling this month.
