The Sandy Ground Playground Benefit Concert

Highlands, one of the most Hurricane Sandy devastated towns along the Jersey Shore, will be rocking and rolling on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 8, Bon Jovi guitarist Bobby Bandiera, and a bevy of special musical guests perform a concert benefiting The Sandy Ground Project – Where Angels Play.  The Sandy Ground Project aims to build 26 playgrounds in 26 towns effected by Hurricane Sandy, each named for one of the 26 Newtown, CT massacre victims. Also performing Dennis Diken and Jimmy Babiak of the Smithereens, Bob Burger, Tim McLoone, Tommy Labella, Lyonne Holmes, Alexis Biesiada and Mark Barden. Tickets for the concert are $25 for Highlands residents, $35 for all others and VIP tickets are $250  A package of 4 tickets can be purchased for $120.
