"Stop FEMA Now" grassroots revolt!
Meet 'n' greet at Belly Busters, 708 Fischer Blvd, Toms River

Discuss and strategize how to rectify FEMA overkill -- flawed maps, ridiculously high elevation mandates and usurious annual insurance premiums that will BANKRUPT Shore homdowners and make the Shore a ghost town (except for the wealthy).


How about a class-action lawsuit?  Petitions to White House, federal and/or state legislators?  Letter-writing and email campaigns to news media?  Rallies on steps of Statehouse and Congress?  Make your voice heard!


"United we stand, divided we drown in debt!"

About 25 people attended our start-up meeting, and everyone interested is invited to our next meeting -- Saturday, Feb. 23rd, 3-4 pm, at the same place.
We're setting objectives and a plan of action to get FEMA's pay-to-elevate-or-pay-huge-annual-premiums mandate changed. That "overkill" will ruin the Shore as people abandon homes and businesses. We can use your help. Your most important asset -- your home -- is at stake, so please come. Make your voice heard from Trenton to Washington!

Funny Lelenore, I don't see that there are very many rules and regs. If it were elected it would not…Read More be an infringement. I respect your opinion, but still feel six day time hours out of an entire week is not a lot to ask. If nothing else, would love to see a ban on gas leaf blowers. There are towns that have that in place. The mowers are not really IMHO that intrusive, but the leaf blowers and concrete cutters are another matter. Trouble is, people herebouts think they are in Montana and often are as you say, on 100 by 100 lots. What is the point of having all of this grass and trees if one never has the serenity about them to enjoy it? I think the ill effects of suburban noise pollution on health - blood pressure, aggression, release of the chemical cortisol etc. are well documented. Over a twenty five year period in time in Brick I find that this has become a real quality of life issue. At one point in my life I resided in mid town Manhattan and ya know what - being high up IT WAS QUIETER! Jackson? I don't think so. Doesn't Brielle have such an elective ordinance?
