Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®

The Alzheimer’s Association is inviting Brick area residents to unite in a movement to reclaim the future for millions by participating in the scenic two-and-a-half-mile Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® Southern Regional Walk on Saturday, September 28, 9:00 a.m. at the corner of Arnold & Baltimore Avenues in Point Pleasant Beach.  This year’s registration and starting line are repositioned; Walkers will meet at the corner of Arnold and Baltimore Avenues, instead of inside Little Silver Park.  Opening ceremonies will include a special memorial and honorary tribute to all those affected by Alzheimer’s disease, remarks from CBS News Legal Analyst Jack Ford and a performance by Ocean County barbershop-style harmony group The Oceanaires.  Register today at www.alz.org/nj/walk or call 732.832.7818.

This year’s Walk at the corner of Arnold & Baltimore Avenues is expected to bring in over 2,000 participants.  Walkers also will have the opportunity to learn more about the disease and its effect on members of the community.
