Two Men Arrested, Charged With Copper Theft

Both men were subsequently charged with burglary, possessing burglary tools, criminal mischief and theft

Two Forked River men have been arrested and charged with theft of copper after police say they shattered a glass door and entered a Cherry Quay Road residence during the day July 16.

Men who were later identified as Keith and Nicholas Cicerello, of Leguene Street, were allegedly observed by a witness entering the home and then leaving in a Dodge pick up truck, police said.

A check of the area by officers revealed a similar vehicle to the Dodge pick up truck described by the witness on Bark Drive. In the bed of that pick up truck was copper pipes that were allegedly removed from the home, police said.

Both men were subsequently charged with burglary, possessing burglary tools, criminal mischief and theft.

Bail has been set for both suspects at $50,000 with no 10% option.
