Three Ocean County youth have been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery that occurred, they say, prior to a stabbing on Sawmill Road in early July.
Police were investigating the stabbing, which has previously been reported on Patch, when they say they discovered that the stabbing istemmed from an earlier unreported robbery.
As a result three, were arrested, including Isaiah L. Billingsley, age 19, of Brick, who was charged with simple assault and released; and Everton C. Kerr, age 19, of Toms River, who was charged with robbery. Bail was set at $50,000 with no 10% option. Also charged was Dayshawn W. Billingsley, age 21, of Lakewood was also charged with robbery. Bail for Billingsley was set at $50,000 with no 10% option.
