There will be a beach cleanup at Brick Beach 1 this coming Saturday, October 19.
The cleanup effort is part of the semi annual beach sweeps coordinated by Clean Ocean Action and sponsored by Baine Contracting.
"We wanted to find another way to get back to the community we live and work in," said Michael Baine, founder and president of Baine Contracting.
The public is encouraged to participate by arriving at the beach on Saturday between 845 and 9 a.m.
The cleanup effort starts at 9 a.m and is expected to end at 11 a.m.
Volunteer should wear appropriate clothing including sunscreen and hard soled shoes.
Free T-shirts coffee water and donuts will be available.
Brick beach 1is located at 3:10 route 35 north.
