Removal storm wall

Removal storm wall for coast towns, cities like Hoboken, Manhattan, etc.....sounds very promising

I just happened to grab the last 10 minutes of the New Jersey Capital Report show on ch 13 (with Steve Audabato), but this is what I believe I heard (don't quote me on all the details).  There were 2 guests.  I believe one was with RSA...from what I heard and the other with Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken.   It appears they are joining forces to come up with technology to handle a variety of storms and their surges.  One company appeared to specialize in foundations and walls, and the other person appeared to be spearheading the testing and analysis of the walls, etc.  I believe I heard they have already met with some government officials, including some here in NJ, and FEMA, etc.   The wall could be installed along coast towns, cities like lower Manhattan, Hoboken, etc.   The wall would be installed prior to a storm and removed after the storm.   Towns would opt to have the wall installed;  I believe I also understood that FEMA would pay for 75% of the installation.  Not sure if this included removing it as well.   In any case, this appeared to be very promising and it sounded like the most promising of other technologies and proposals made to date.  As I understood, the wall would be intended to protect people and their homes.   It also appears they could feasibly have something like this in place in a few months...but there's always the economics, politics, etc.    But this DID sound quite promising.
