Why does this cancer get so much attention. I cannot for the life of me explain this or understand it. Cops are wearing pink on their uniforms, pink badges, hats etc. Hockey players at Ocean Ice Palace, pink at Lowes and Home Depot, Is this really a cause or a bandwagon to save Ferris Buehler. Who pays to have all this stuff painted pink then back to the original color. Is that road marking of Pink a legal color for motor vehicle law enforcement. Pink lines are not an offical color indicating no passing. Lets grow up America and think before you board the bandwagon. There are a lot of people hurting out there from many many ailments that get nowhere near this attention and fraud.

Dude, Lighten up!! What bandwagon? Fraud? Maybe because people no more people that have cancer than any other form of illness... Maybe it is a personal thing... especially "Breast Cancer" Maybe they have a Mom, Aunt, Sister, Cousin that had or has this type of disease... Maybe because they do the Breast Walk up at the BW every October. I think it is really cool to see so many come together to help support those in need.

As much as I appreciate the sentiment, I think changing the yellow lines on the roadway to pink is a little too much. It certainly achieves its goal by distracting the driver. The goal of Breast Cancer awareness month is not just to draw attention to breast cancer...it's to get people to donate money to breast cancer research groups. A noble goal, no question, but if you don't have the money, you can't give. My wife's mother and my aunt both died from breast cancer. Driving down Arnold Avenue, with that pink line, just seems to remind me of our losses, re-igniting my grief all over again. There's no avoiding seeing that pink line either, not if you want to drive well. It was a well-intentioned idea, but I look forward to seeing the yellow line become yellow again, and I hope that it stays yellow in the future.

Hey Iggy Dude, Just Google Komen and fraud to see what you do not know what you are talking about. All charities start out with good intention and all of them turn into a billion dollar business rife with fraud. Follow the money honey....
