Franchisee Plans Another Local Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant

Company currently operates Buffalo Wild Wings location in Brick

A major franchisee of the Buffalo Wild Wings chain of restaurants plans to open a location in Toms River.

On Tuesday, the Toms River Township council approved the transfer of a liquor license from Linda Geffner to Antsul Group, the development firm planning on bringing the restaurant to the township.

The license was transferred "in pocket," meaning the restaurant will not begin operating immediately.

Steven Sullivan, Jr., the president of Antsul, said in an e-mail to Toms River Patch that details on where the restaurant will be located will likely be announced in the "coming months."

Antsul currently owns the franchise rights to the Buffalo Wild Wings location in Brick – the first and only location of the chain in Ocean County. The restaurant opened in 2012 in a 6,200 square foot portion of the Kennedy Mall shopping center at the corner of Brick Boulevard and Old Hooper Avenue.
