Collection  for Adopt-A Soldier Platoon

Coastal Jersey Parrot Head Club (CJPHC) announces the urgent collection for our military men and woman thru Adopt-A Soldier Platoon Inc.

Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon, Inc. is recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as a nonprofit public charity since 2003. In 2010, 93.8% of every dollar went to the troops. They sent out an urgent request for items for “Operation NJ” and units hit very hard during strikes.

If you would like to help please drop off your donations at The Mantoloking Road Pub on Mantoloking Road, Brick NJ 08723 by August 23rd,  2012. There will be a bin in the entrance for donations or ask the hostess for assistance.  CJPHC Happy Hour will be 6-9pm on August 14th but you can drop off your donations there during their normal business hours. Featuring Live Entertainment on August 14th with Gary Philips Sfraga and Jersey John Hanney

A second drop off location is Rumors Hair and Nail Salon located at 760a Mantoloking Rd. Brick, NJ 08723 . Please call to verify business hours 732-477-8811.end_of_the_skype_highlighting

The founder, Alan Krutchkoff, suggests items from the Official Product Collection List of much needed supplies. Please donate only those items on the list or a monetary donation. Checks made out to Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon, Inc.

Top suggested items include Beef Jerky/Perky Jerky; V8 Energy drinks, 5 hr Energy; Sneaky Pete’s Outstanding beverages (great oat-based drink, healthy); Batteries: 9V, D, C, AA, AAA (new only); and towels.

PLEASE, No aerosols or hotel freebies. No dollar store junk; No out of code food; No loose food, candy or garage sale throwaways. Our Adoptees are our family! Let’s treat them as such.
