Chick-Fil-A Breaks Ground on Brick Location

The first ceremonial shovel full of dirt symbolized the start of construction of a Chick-Fil-A in Brick Township.

With the last part of plans approved back in February, the chicken fast-food restaurant franchise was granted permission to begin construction. On Nov. 18, local officials, restaurant executives and the chain's cow mascot took to breaking ground to kick off construction.

The Chick-Fil-A restaurant will take shape next to Lowe's, 520 Route 70.
