Brick police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the Herbertsville section last night, according to reports.
Reached by phone this morning, an official with the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office noted that Brick police were handling the incident.
Sgt. Henry Drew, a spokesman for the Brick Police Department, confirmed for the Asbury Park Press a stabbing occurred, but would not say divulge further details. Drew was not immediately available for comment this morning.
