On Traders Cove, We All Can't be Right

I have been informed by many who live here in Brick, that a certain former mayor lost an election because he campaigned against the acquisition of property which is now known as Windward Beach Park.

Foolish, foolish, foolish, because look at it now. Try telling this to the hundreds of people who use these green acres year round. This property equates to a "grand slam home run," no doubt. What happened to those boo birds who thought he was right? Where are they now?

Traders Cove is another problem that got bad ink and has been picked up by those same boo birds who fought against Windward Beach. They have their rights, but are they honest? Think about it. Now we have a Mayor being strung up because he favors the Cove. I'm 100 percent against wasteful spending, but is this a waste of taxpayer dollars when this project will benefit Brick citizens and others who live nearby? Windward Beach accomodates out of town people, too, so why the stingy problem at the Cove?

Apparently, since this writing our new administration has thought the opposite by approving the project. It is easy to complain and condem, but only if you don't tell lies; be forthright and truthful and keep all comments strictly above board and your voice will be heard with respect. Now I wait for the stones to be thrown by bloggers who only want their names hidden by being false to all who want the truth to be heard. Mayor Steve Acropolis will overcome these cat calls and Brick will still remain "the jewel of South Jersey."
