Weekend Nightlife Round Up: Sept. 23-25

The cool breeze is bringing a refreshing ring to the air, so break out those sweaters, head to your favorite neighborhood spot and gear up for fall

 — McIntyre’s brings you “one hundred thousand welcomes” with a friendly pub atmosphere, live music and great beer.

  • Friday: TRAX performs live. Drink specials include $3 Heineken Lights.
  • Saturday: Live music with Boot Hill Express at 10 p.m., $2.50 Bud Lights.
  • Sunday: NFL Sundays kick off at 1 p.m. with $3 big Bud Lights, super snack specials and giveaways.

Hemingway’s Cafe, 612 Blvd, Seaside Heights — Hemingway’s is a covering-all-the-bases type of place, offering a bustling dinner scene, nightly entertainment, and a relaxing location near the beach. Hemingway’s will now be open Thursday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m., except Sundays when the bar will open at noon.

  • Friday: Ladies Night starting at 8 p.m. with half-priced drinks for ladies and half-priced appetizers; $2 Coors Light bottles and $3 bomb shots for everyone.  DJ Milky Mike will be spinning. No cover for ladies.
  • Saturday: The Hottest Dance Party Down the Shore with music by DJs Billy the Kid and DJ Teo. No cover before 11 p.m.

Idle Hour, 2600 Hwy 88, Point Pleasant — Idle Hour is “your neighborhood sports bar” with amazing daily drink specials and live entertainment on the weekends, including a St. Pat’s Day celebration every Saturday.

  • Friday: All day happy hour until 6 p.m. with $2 domestic bottles and domestic pints.
  • Saturday:  St.Pat’s Day specials with $2 mugs and $3 pints of Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, $3 shots of Irish whiskey, $4 car bombs until 10 p.m., and $4.99 corned beef sandwiches.
  • Sunday: Live music every Sunday with Undisputed; $2.75 Bud Light pints and $3.75 Bud Light bottles.

The Office, 820 Main Street, Toms River — For over 35 years The Office has been an institution in Toms River. Its large and sprawling space provides a ultra casual atmosphere. They’ve got outdoor dining, a sushi bar, and one of the best happy hours in the region.

  • Friday: “Fantastic Fridays” with $2.50 any pint from open until close.
  • Saturday: “Big Suds Saturday” with $3 25 oz Miller Lite draft mugs from open until close.
  • Sunday: “Coors Light Sunday” with $.50 cents off all drinks not already discounted, $3 house Bloody Marys, $4 22oz Coors Lite “you keep the mug.”

Brickhouse, 979 Cedarbridge Ave, Brick — Brickhouse Bar & Grille offers a full menu and a full bar selection. A great spot to hit up for happy hour or a Saturday night out.
