Supplies for Sandy Victims Being Distributed in Brick Today

Donations came from North Jersey police departments

Nine truckloads of donations for survivors of Hurricane Sandy made their way from West Caldwell to South Jersey – including Brick – earlier this week, and are being distributed Wednesday until 4 p.m.

The items were collected by two North Jersey police departments: West Caldwell and Montclair, where donation centers were manned for a week. The trucks and drivers were donated by VitaQuest, Community Education Centers and Corporate Communications Group from West Caldwell and Zimmerman Trucking of Montclair.

The distribution will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Dominic's Church, 250 Old Squan Road off Route 88.
