October 18
The seventhreetwo concert series continues at Toms River library, but with a Halloween theme this month. The program is free. This month, Halloween Show with: Accidental Seabirds, Julian Fulton and the Zombie Gospel. 7 to 8:30 p.m.
October 19-20

Brick's 'Easkfest' returns for its fifth year. Haunted trail, hayride, carnival rides, a game room, and plenty of treats and sweets. See this Brick Patch article for time and date detials. The event takes place at the Pioneer Hose fire house on Drum Point Road.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Live performance, Saturday, October 20 at 8 p.m., located at 400 Clifton Avenue, Lakewood. Tickets can be purchased online for $21 (plus service charge) or day-of-show at the Strand. The box office is open for sales three hours prior to the show. This show is recommended for ages 18 and older, and guests ages 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult. For more info, visit www.strand.org.

Celebrate Halloween with stories, decorate a Trick or Treat bag, and make a monster cupcake at Island Heights library 6:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Island Heights Friends of the Library. Register at call 732-270-6266.
October 23
The Teen Zone: DIY Halloween Costumes & Makeup at Toms River library for this month’s do-it-yourself session in the Teen Zone, 7-8 p.m. Ages 12-18, call 732-349-6200.
October 24
Brick Township Halloween "Spooktacular" and Trunk or Treat. From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Drum Point Sports Complex, children can "trunk or treat" from the back of decorated cars and participate in a Halloween costume contest. Magic 100.1 will be on hand. The event is free. To register a car, call 732-262-1073.
October 26
Magic show and children's craft at Toms River library. Registration required, begins Oct 12. Candy, crafts, and games for children 12 and under with their families. Special guest, The Amazing V, will be on-hand to show his spookiest magic tricks. 6:30 p.m.
October 31
The 75th annual Toms River Halloween parade down Main Street to Washington Street, begins south of Route 37 at 7 p.m. Road and service closures begin at 5 p.m.
