Former Elks Poster Child Installed Into Brick Antlers

The Brick Antlers Lodge #3 have participated in Special Needs Children Activities and the Elks Annual Flag Day Ceremony.

This week, Helena Gross of Brick, former Brick Elks Lodge #2151 Poster Child 2010-2011 and former Area 1 and South East District Poster Child 2011-2012, was installed into the Brick Antlers Lodge #3 by Exalted Ruler of Brick Lodge #2151 Jackie Massari.

Gross, diagnosed with a very rare genetic disorder, Joubert Syndrome, began her journey with the Elks as a poster child.  Inspired by the work of the Elks, Gross felt a need to give back to the Elk Community and was welcomed by their youth organization, The Antlers.

This organization allows young people, between 12 and 20 years of age, the opportunity to be involved in area activities and to practice the Elks beliefs in country, veterans and public service.
