Asked earlier today what keeps her coming back, she didn't hesitate - "the food," she said, digging into her fish and chips.
The event, hosted by the Point Pleasant Beach Chamber of Commerce, continues today until 7 p.m.
The “Festival of the Sea” is a street fair located in the heart of downtown Point Pleasant Beach, on Arnold and Bay avenues, where visitors sample dishes by the area’s finest restaurants, from clam chowder to lobster rolls to steak.
There will also be:
- arts and crafts;
- a wine garden;
- plenty of tables available so visitors can sit, eat and enjoy the live bands, including oldies, rock, folk and other types of music.
The festival is one of the recipients of the American Business Association’s “The Top 100 events in North America."
