Brick 'Senior Citizen Prom' Planned

Annual event planned for Brick's senior citizens May 3

Brick Township is planning its annual Senior Citizen Prom the night of May 3.

The annual celebration is a free event presented by National Honor Society students from Brick Township High School and Brick Memorial High School, along with the township's recreation department.

Seniors are treated to a special dinner menu compliments of a number of restaurants in Brick, including Carrabba's, which donates the evening's meal. The Sentimental Journey Big Band also performs throughout the night.

Seniors, staff, and students are encouraged to wear prom appropriate attire and to bring their dancing shoes for musical performances and student talent.

In keeping with prom tradition, students will count the submitted ballots and announce the 2013 Senior Citizen Prom King and Prom Queen before the last dance.
