The Brick Reservoir is annually ranked as one of the best places to walk at the Jersey Shore, but dabbler ducks outnumbered the exercisers on a unseasonaly warm day recently.

Male and female Mallards glided, splashed and bathed under a crisp blue sky as dog walkers and joggers breezed by.
