Forget the ocean or bay. Some prize catches were made at Lake Riviera last weekend.
The township held its annual Fishing Derby, a one-day fishing tournament for kids 14 and under. The youngsters hooked several fish species Aug. 25 at Lake Riviera, where the contest was held from 6 a.m. to 12 noon.

Prizes for the event were donated by L&H Woods and Water, a bait shop with locations in Wall Township and Barnegat Township.
