Osborneville Elementary School's Autism Awareness Assembly

I had the pleasure of attending Osborneville Elementary School's assembly on "Teaching TOLERANCE" with the main focus on "Light It Up Blue", a campaign for Autism Awareness.  I was so impressed by the children's knowledge and understanding of what it means to be tolerant and their interest in the awareness of Autism.

The event included  skits by the Student Organization, a presentation by Mr. Brett Novick, essays written about tolerance and a performance of the song "Light it Up Blue", sung by the entire student body.  The entire event warmed my heart and I could not think of a better way to spend my morning.  It was an honor!

Thank you Mrs. LaRusso for your invitation.  I only wish the leaders of the our district could have been there to enjoy it as much as I.
