Have you ever considered becoming a host family for an international student? High School students from China studying at Monseignor Donovan High School in Tom's River, NJ are in need of host families for the Fall 2014-2015 academic year. Our students are academically focused, have great determination, are independent and have exceptional English skills. They are eager to live with an American family to learn about life in the USA. Hosting is a wonderful opportunity to bring Chinese Culture and language into your home which our students will share with you! Many of our USA students have interest in Global Studies and hosting will broaden horizons and prepare your children for Global opportunities in college. We are interviewing warm and welcoming families.
Our Comprehensive Program Includes:
- Full Academic Support for the student
- The student has health insurance, computer, cell phone and their own spending money
- You will have the opportunity to meet students via SKYPE to find the best fit for your family. This is a fun process!
- Transportation is available with a 20 mile radius of your home and the school.
- Host families receive a generous compensation of $1,000.00 per month.
Many families in Toms River, Brick, Lakewood and surrounding areas are hosting and you will have the opportunity to connect with other host families through the Monsignor Donovan community. We also consider empty nesters!
