The OCVTS Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science (MATES) will host the Marine Science Summer Experience held at the MATES facility, Manahawkin. 7:30 a.m. tp 3:30 p.m. ,July 16-19, July 23-26, July 30-August 2 or August 6-9. Students will be exposed to laboratory and research techniques, ecology, marine and environmental science. Daily field visits will focus on hands-on research, collection and identification of local species, water sampling and monitoring. Ocean County students entering grades 7, 8 and 9 may attend.
