DESCRIPTION:The Center for Healthy Living at Kimball Medical Center\, a B
 arnabas Health facility\, will host an AARP Driving Safety program for s
 eniors to help older drivers maintain their mobility and independence.\n
 A trained AARP instructor will teach seniors about various defensive dri
 ving techniques\, new traffic laws and general road rules\, as well as t
 ips to accommodate changes in vision\, new distractions and the effect o
 f certain medications on driving ability. After the course\, participant
 s will receive a certificate of completion that can be presented to insu
 rance agents for a possible reduction in auto insurance premiums.\nEach 
 six-hour course will be held at The Center for Healthy Living at 198 Pro
 spect St. in Lakewood from 10 a.m. &ndash\; 4:30 p.m. (with a lunch brea
 k) on the following dates:\n\nApril 2\nJune 4\nAugust 6\nOctober 8\n\nTh
 e fee for this program is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members.
