No trash or recycling collection today in Brick, but schools are open

Formerly known as George Washington's birthday, Presidents' Day is a federal holiday.

The township municipal complex in Brick, Ocean County and state government, all branches of the Ocean County Library and post offices are closed.

In Brick, there will be no trash or recycling collection on Monday. Collections will be delayed by one day all week as a result.

Brick schools remain open Monday, according to the district's revised schedule.

The Ocean County Vocational Technical (OCVTS) school district is open on Monday to help make up for "Sandy" days when schools were closed (see attached PDF for full, updated schedule).

NJ Transit will operate an enhanced weekend rail schedule on Monday. For more information, click here.

Some banks are open, some are closed. If you need bank services beyond what an ATM or online transaction can provide, you may want to check the bank website or call before visiting.
