Actually I watched the scheduled debates, and I would say Joe not only held his own, but dominated. Don't underestimate Joe. He put's his foot in his mouth, but his heart is in the right place.

I did not think that Ryan was as charismatic. However, VP Biden's snickering and laughing was thoroughly un-vice-presidential. One can only hope that he carries himself a bit more diplomatically on issues of grave national importance. Also, did Biden get the memo on the Libyan raid?!? Aesop has come up with fewer stories than this administration concerning the death of our ambassador.

Ryan did well for a man who hasn't debated since his first run for Congress. Biden was as boisterous as ever. Call it a tie.

I think the VP did as he was told which was try to cover the mistakes made by the president however his constant interrupting, snickering as well as his arrogance was almost impossible to get past. I agree a draw

Biden acted like a fool. Regardless of what he said, a lot comes across in how they act and conduct themselves. I think this country has so many problems right now and for someone who is running for elected office to be laughing, snickering, rolling his eyes, etc really diminishes the importance of this election.

So let me get this right. Americans are out of work, The economy is falling faster than a fat kid on roller skates. Diplomats and theirs colleagues are being killed in the middle east. And we have lost respect in the world community. And Joe Biden is laughing like he was at "Happy Hour". Unbelieveable!!

It's like a drinking game. Every time Ryan lied Biden had to laugh. If he had to do a shot each time, he wouldn't have made it 1/2 hour in to the debate

Not much I could add to the comments from Ms. Griffin to Rangerlou - Good posts.
To Laura - Do you know something that is going on with our economic and world situations that many of us do not? I mean, I am curious as to what you believe Ryan lied about. I look around, and I know a lot of us are hurting, tax money has gone to failed "green" businesses, soldiers continue to die, an ambassador is dead, and we have amassed an obscene national debt. Could you please enlighten the rest of us as to what we are missing?
