Township Seeking Applicants for Volunteer Positions

Various boards, commissions need members

 

The township council is currently seeking letters of interest and resumes for the following positions in township government:

  • Board of Adjustment
  • Ethics Board
  • Housing Authority
  • BTMUA
  • Trap Neuter and Release Committee
  • Tourism Commission

Please email the letter of interest/resume to John Ducey, Council President at CouncilmanDucey@live.com or they can be mailed to 401 Chambers Bridge Road, Brick, NJ 08724.  The deadline for receipt of the letters is December 20, 2012.

Agreed, and agreed. Let those with three jobs give up one salary and make these paid positions. Volunteer for Ethics Board lol. The town fathers need to volunteer themselves on that one methinks.

Why bother looking for TNR committee volunteers when they have absolutely no say so in what should be done and how to run the show. There are people in charge and on the committee that know NOTHING about TNR...maybe that's why it's taking so long to get things done. Its a real shame because the cats need help so badly and there has been nothing but delays with this program. Why isn't our mayor backing them up....guess he's just all talk.

I heard there are people in charge of TNR that are clueless to what is going on. Why aren't the volunteers who actually do the work in charge? Why can't Brick TNR be as efficient as other groups already up and running. It took another group less than a year to get their act together. The whole situation is really sad.
