Just what Brick needs.....another restaurant. Don't we have enough traffic due to all the stores and restaurants? I am seriously considering moving out of Brick because of this. Took me 25 minutes yesterday to go 4 blocks on Chambersbridge Road. We just can't handle all these other towns boggling up our town. Build restaurants in their town....NOT OURS.

Didnt we have a Roy Rodgers years ago in Brick? They really have to do something to attract businesses other then restaurants.

Geee I wonder why so many people are overweight every block a diffrent fast food place, why not open something active for the kids/ or local families to do?? ( In door water park at foodtown sight??) I play america or rolller rink., even lazor tag at the WOW sight that has been emty forever... Lets think out of the Box & Buns & start thinking healthy, maybe a indoor gym for families.... A town pool, ( creating jobs for our local teens Without needing to go to Point or Seaside) yes there is a expense to build but with a snack stand & badges it will after a few yrs bring in money,,, & your local families will go there to spend money instead of going out of town for summer entertainment.....

Correct, White Castle was interested in the old Sub Shack location. There were several other locations of interest to White Castle in recent years. Hopefully there will be an agreement between the township, a property owner, and White Castle. We need our fix of sliders in Brick!!!

People can we say ratable!!! Lower my taxes and bring in the business. But did you know Brick is one of the few towns that does not charge for a business license? Why not charge all these business to be here and increase revenue and lower our taxes. Then I will have the money to eat at White Castle and Roy Rodgers.

Listen, the old Denny's is standing there EMPTY......that looks terrble for Brick. Isn't it better to open it up with a Roy Rogers, instead of building another building? Besides I was so sorry to the the old Roay Rogers go. They had great food. And NO I am not overweight.

Look at all these people complaining. If a company wants to open a restaurant in a town WHO CARES? If you don't like it, don't go. Simple.

People around here complain when Pharmacy's open. Gas Stations. Now restaurants.

Listen folks, the mom 'n pop establishments are a thing of the past. Many long-time local businesses have been sold lately simply because nobody wants to buy them once the original owners retire. Also, their children don't want to inherit them, as they'd rather go to school or start careers.

And besides, It beats empty buildings . . .

Brick, NJ another "Fast food Capital of the County" where its proud citizens look the part as they stagger from point A to B.

i love roy rogers!!! i do not eat fast food normally. only on road trips. I personally wish they had a affordably healthy option, but since that doesnt seem to be happening any time soon, bring on the roy rogers. even the "healthy" options arent that healthy. if people are gonna eat it, people are gonna build them...however i do agree that we do need more affordably family oriented places around here. possably clean up the local beaches in the neighborhoods all around town. that that is neither here or there!

Why does Brick alway look to bring in fast food chains? We really do have too many of them in town.

We need a Moe's Southwest Grill in the empty space next to the ATT Store on the corner of Chambers and 70. Awsum food.

Yet again more complaints for businesses actually wanting to come to brick. Its not the towns fault for businessmen & women not wanting to open a lazer tag.. LOL. Some people all they do is complain. And if you think about it, the people who complain that there is traffic during the day... Why are they on the road in the first place? Retired, Or too lazy to get a job? Either case, if your retired whats the rush??? And if you're a lazy slob that doesn't work, don't complain that MY income tax supports your laziness to drive around all day long in the first place. Get a job people and then there is no reason for you to be on the road during the day.

@ DT... 1st off I dont think People where complaining.. it sounded more like suggestions, Which BTW sounded like creative ideas for this area.. & 2nd what makes you think everyone has 9-5 jobs and are working during the day??? People works all diffrent hours of the day they can be driving to or from work at 1am-12pm & 3rd To call someone a lazy slob when close to 10% of americans are unemployed is just a ignorant... & honestly just mean thing to say... you dont know what people that are unemployed are going threw....& I pay my taxes I vote for the school budget every yr I LOVE NJ & Love living in Brick...

Seriously people.. I'm sure Brick doesn't limit solicitation! It's who ever BITES that matters. Again, better used space than sitting empty. I'm sure they will do some sort of face life to accommodate needs {drive through - etc}.

Def be happy to see " something" there, But rather it NOT be another fast food place, LIKE the ideas of * out of the box, something for our local people to enjoy!

W.O.W, Friendlys, Chevy's, Arby's, Denny's 5th Ave Elec store,... Just to name a few within a 5 mile radius ( not to mention smaller store fronts in strip malls) NOT a good sign... I guess Brick got the " change" people voted for ...

W.OW left after the fire in the building, in order to stay in the building it needed to much to bring it up to code. No one will ever move into that building !!! As for Chevys they closed down all over the country ( not all, but alot). That will be a new resturant called Quaker Steak and Lube, they are doing the construction now. Freindlys corp is in Bankruptcy, the new owner wants the ice cream brand but not the resturants, so if they wern't turning a profit they were shut down. Buisness will come and go , depending on the economy. As for Roy's, not my favorite food, but if they take a existing buiding thats good for the town.
