So the residents didn't have a problem with the Denny's being there operating 24hours? They would rather see an empty building instead? Give me a break. You people live next a major road (Brick Blvd/Hooper Ave), a giant mini mall with a supermarket and a 24 hour gym. Some people complain for the sake of complaining.

From the looks of the photos, are they looking to use the old Dennys location or that empty grass covered pad site across the street ??

I like new businesses coming into Brick, it makes the local economy boom and in theory should lower our property taxes (ha ha ha) BUT I want to see them built on sites that have already been used not on new cleared land, there are so many empty buildings in Brick rotting away, that there is no excuse to clear new land for such projects.

Didn't Roy Rogers originally put in an application to replace the old Denny's building? I guess that was shot down so they are trying the vacant land across the street. Sonic applied to use this vacant lot a few years ago, but the old codgers who live behind the lot complained.

With Arby's gone in Brick, the Roy Rogers is a great idea. Cant stomach McDonalds, BK, or Wendys!

Great! A brick "white castle" Parking lot. Instead of failed Tr rappers we have kids with tight bowl cuts and glossy earrings. I'm surprised the town Isnt behind this.more 24 hour punks means more tickets for the town. Which means more money to pay the cops(great!) Also, while we are at it, during the construction process we can probably see a another big rat! Which will give more attention to unions and the upcoming election. Lets not forget the fact that when it's opened the chaos it will bring inside with all the miserable people around here. Almost like a human zoo. So in that case, for good fast food and human entertainment, I say YES!

If someone wants to take an old building over and make it nice or even new then whats the problem. We are chock full of 1970 strip malls that no one wants anymore. The town should foreclose where they can and tear down these structures using public works.

Whats the latest on White Castle and Chick-Fil-A ?

Brick planning board would never approve any plan that made sense. That's why the town is filled with empty buildings, bankrupt, and half their politicians are in jail.
