Whether it is for Mother's Day on May 13, National Secretary's Day on Wednesday or just to make someone smile, there's no limit to the reasons people buy flowers.
As part of this week'd Readers' Choice Poll we want to know where you go to get the flowers.
Readers this week chose Mr. Alan's Original Florist as their favorite flower shop in town.

Stop N shop, Shop rite, & AP have beautiful fresh flowers & arrangements or you can put together & personalize to your own taste, at 1/2 the cost of a " florist"

There's nothing wrong with going to a supermarket for flowers. No one's saying to go there for wedding flowers..but for a quick bouquet or gift...why not?

Mr Alan is a wonderful owner and a great person to deal with, Don't bring your personal vendetta on here, I'm sorry you can't afford florists and have to get your flowers at a supermarket, No reason to attack an honest businessman.

Drove right past Mr Alan's to Added Touch where you get one on one, personalized service from Maureen and Laura. Over 20 years of service in Brick and still going strong :) Good luck girls!

Alan's on Rte 88 has never let us down, with beautiful arrangements for all types of occassions. Nothing but the best. People have commented on the arrangements. But, I do not put anyone down, where ever you buy your flowers is your business. Good luck Alan, keep up the beautiful work. People are always helpful in the store.

Mr. Alan has my vote, Not only do I buy flowers from Mr Alan's but I also used to work there and a comment that he talks down to staff is a flat out lie, Mr Alan always goes out of his way to take care of his employees with whatever you needed.
He does the same for customers and the poll shows that, If you wish to comment about your florist fine but no reason to attack another business in this poll.

you sound so angry. its a poll, to put advise out there. In my experince I was not happy at all the with level of professionalism or customer service. I do & have used many local florist, however, Flowers are a art form, many times I do not nessary want someone elses work, I feel it worth so much more when creating with your own mind & heart & actually putting your own work into it not have someone else doing it for you.
