The snow that was expected for Thursday finally arrived in the early morning hours on Friday, making for a slippery commute to work but not affecting the local school schedules.
According to the National Weather Service, we could see as much as two inches of snow this morning before shifting over to rain in the afternoon. With a high temperature of 44 predicted, whatever accumulation does stick in the morning should begin to melt.
There is a chance for more rain tonight, but the forecast for tomorrow is a sunny day with a high of 53 degrees. The low temperature for tomorrow night is expected to be around 32 setting the trend for the next few days.
The next chance for rain is not until Monday night when there is a 60 percent chance for wet weather.
